Pickmere lake can be reached within 10 minutes by car. If you have your own paddle board/kayak/canoe, you can launch them for free. Alternatively, if you are a fan of open-water swimming, Pickmere is the place for you. Take a picnic and enjoy the serenity of the lake for a gorgeous few hours out.
