Taylors Landing used to be a place where canal boats stopped to stock up on supplies at C&O Canal mercantile (original building was renovated). Nowadays people visit the boat landing on the Potomac for paddling, fishing, or swimming, and the towpath for walking, running, or biking. Some well known races pass by here, including the JFK50. The natural beauty of the C&O Canal National park is completed by a beautiful rural setting, offering additional options for hilly county roads for walking, biking, admiring or visiting working farms. An amazing view of the C&O Canal and Potomac river from the garden of our historic house.
