Everything in Newfoundland is easily 25% or higher more expensive than it is back home. Fruit and vegetables have improved over the past three years but I wouldn't chance it in the winter/spring.

Local grocery with a great selection and a full liquor store attached . everything you could need in one shop including Pharmacy.
