Miles and miles of gorgeous walks, rolling hills, forests and stunning views. This wonderful area in Northumberland is home to some of the most pristine rivers, clearest air, and darkest skies in England. From beautiful valleys, prehistoric hill forts, Roman ruins, and rugged castles to spectacular waterfalls and lush meadows, the park is truly an extraordinary place.

One of the remotest areas to visit in England affording some of the best walking terrain you can find. Rolling moors, hills and grasslands; ancient hill forts; sparkling streams and rivers.

Vast protected borders landscape encompassing Hadrian's Wall, Kielder Forest and the Cheviot Hills. The National Park is possibly not as well known as the Northumberland Coast AONB and is therefore a lot quieter with traffic. Linhope Spout Waterfall: beautiful place, gorgeous scenery, lovely walk to the waterfall. As it is a private road, the closest you can park your vehicle is 1.5 miles away, parking can be tricky as there are limited spaces on the side of the road. Plenty spaces further down by the river however, it means you are further away from the waterfall. Ideal for everyone to enjoy the beauty of the countryside, very relaxing and therapeutic, nature at its best.

Beautiful. Vast area of walks though forests, valleys and hills. Remote. Full of wildlife, empty of people.

We are situated in the park where there is plenty of walking and exploring to be done.
