A lovely, lovely family beach, replete with two ocean pools (adult and nippers), rock pools and a sensational kids playground. All located at the southern end of the beach.

Right on the beach but in a fenced area with great equipment. If you have kids, you must visit this playground.

Collaroy Beach also forms part of an accessibility precinct that includes an all-abilities playground and access to a FreeWheeler which provides wheelchair access onto the sand and the surf. With good swimming conditions it is an excellent beach for beginner surfers as well. Good wind surfing in north easterly or south easterly winds.
