Roosevelt Park

Start at the park and ride around Corktown, which is the old Irish area of the city that’s experiencing a big resurgence. There are umpteen bars and restaurants on a three or four block radius of Michigan Avenue, and you can definitely roll around and see the whole neighborhood. I think it’s the best vibe I’ve ever experienced in this city. Stop at PJ’s Lager House and order the nachos—they’re the bomb and rival any nacho I’ve had, even in Mexicantown.
