The best fried chicken, mashed potatoes with gravy and corn I have every had. Beer on tap, salad bar and historic wooden bars. In the winter a wood burning stove keeps guests warm. The crowd is always friendly and welcoming.

The Ox Bow Restaurant, in downtown Prairie City, has the best Chicken Fried Steak and creamy potatoes w/gravy. They have great pizza too.
