The closest boat launch is just down the road in the village of Arcadia. Its for Arcadia Lake with a channel into Lake Michigan. There are many other public boat launches nearby, including Bear Lake, Upper and Lower Herring Lake, Crystal Lake, Betsie Bay (also leading into Lake Michigan), Portage Lake, etc.
