The Old City Square is surrounded by 7 museums, all within walking distance from the square. The Kota square can be reached by train from Pondok Jati train station, near the homestay.
Old Town of Jakarta, Kota Tua has unique buildings compared to the other side of Jakarta. It is older and more exotic than the other place of Jakarta.
Kota Tua is filled with abundant of museums, street art and cafes. The crowd sometimes are too much of an annoying people, but it is worth a shot cause this place shows how Jakarta was back in the days when still occupied by the Dutch. Jakarta, were also called Batavia by the dutch.
