Quite a lot of local history here. If you take care to see the entire Archeological and History Museum you will find a lot of interesting exhibits. One of the best stops in Constanta. Most of the tourists have seen inside portion of this museum...there are a couple terraced areas outside...but I was struck by how beautiful the original mosaic floor is and how well preserved from about the 4th century. This area was discovered by accident in 1959 when work was being done on the adjoining square. It is a great find!
