You can rent bikes by the hour right down the street. There is actually a rental station at the end of our block, even closer than the Berteau station, at Lawrence & Ravenswood,

Closest Divvy station: Corner of Sunnyside and Damen (2-minute walk) — Go out the back door, into the alley, and turn right. You’ll see the bike station on your left when the alley ends at Sunnyside.

Divvy is a bike sharing system featuring thousands of bikes at hundreds of stations from Andersonville to Hyde Park, available 24/7, 365 days a year. Each station has a touchscreen kiosk, station map, and a docking system that releases bikes using a member key or ride code.

Grab a Divvy for the day and ride along the Lake Shore Trial. You could even bike down to downtown if you're up to it and drop it off at a station by Millennium Park.
