The Jeanerette Bicentennial Park and Museum is a sampling of life along the winding banks of Bayou Teche. The museum, built in 1902, is made from the cypress wood that was once a major industry in Jeanerette. Step into the past and learn about the last 200 years of the sugarcane industry, the cypress lumber industry and the days of the steamboat.
