Just a short drive from Thunder Bay, you can enjoy a great view of the Sleeping Giant and visit the Terry Fox Monument. Terry Fox, a Canadian icon, began his Marathon of Hope in 1980 to raise money for cancer research. Though he couldn't complete his run, his legacy endures, and the monument stands as a powerful tribute to his courage and impact.
