Just a 5 minute short stroll from the cottage and you’re at Sandy Beach, the village's favourite swimming spot. Maps can be found in our visitor information area. Pack a sandwich and sunscreen and relax for the day. BBQ, playground and toilet facilities are close by. Many memories have been made here. Not recommended during westerly winds.

This wonderful Lake Macquarie swim area is just 2 minutes drive at the end of Kullaroo Road. There are generally no waves and the water is typically much warmer than the Beach. It's the perfect place for the little ones
