The absolutely best way to sail across the canals in Amsterdam. Without the need of any sailing licence you can rent a small boat that you sail yourself. It is the cheapest way to have your own boat in Amsterdam for a couple of hours. I highly recommend it on a sunny day accompanied with some picnic food and drinks that you should take with you. Please be aware that you need to book in advance since sunny days are rare in Amsterdam and then the boats are easily sold out.

Rent a boat at Mokumboot Amsterdam and enjoy the canals! Skippers are available as well. They are just around the corner nearby the Schollenburg straat (check Google).
