Public beach with free parking and you can bring your dogs. In the summer local horse owners bring their horses for a swim. A really majestic thing to watch.

Great view of Shelter Island and nice walking beach. Rocky so bring your water shoes. Attached to the Cornell Marine Biology Center which has neat exhibits for kids.
