Destroyed in Brisbane’s 2011 floods, the New Farm Riverwalk reopened sturdier than ever but with the same wowser views. It sits on the river across from the eastern side of Kangaroo Point, zigzagging its way from the Story Bridge right around to New Farm Park, creating a unique circuit for the city’s fitness geeks. Wanderers are still welcome, though, with plenty of places to stop and take in the scenery opposite. There are walkways and cycle paths on both sides of the river and they go for miles.

You can walk, run, bike or lime scooter from Teneriffe through New Farm, past the Howard Smith Wharves and into the city. A really lovely riverside experience.
Absolutely beautiful walk along the river with a view of the iconic Story Bridge. This river walk takes you straight into Brisbane City! Great for a walk, jog or bike ride.
Great walk from New Farm to the city along a floating boardwalk. You can walk or alternatively cycle or scooter down using City Cycle or Lime scooters. You'll see cycle stations or lime green scooters dotted about the city for a fun and cheap way to get around.
