Great opportunity to visit San Telmo Market, and maybe May Square, Cabildo and the Metropolitan Cathedral if you continue to walk for about half a mile. Directions: Turn right into Caseros Avenue up to Defensa street (over Lezama Park), make a left and walk down right into Dorrego Square.

The legendary San Telmo Antique Fair & artisan market takes place on Sundays. Plaza Dorrego is at the heart of the fair and features the best antique stalls and street tango shows.
Every Sunday from midday onwards, spans the whole length of Defensa street between Av. San Juan and Plaza de Mayo. Offering a wide variety of good quality craft items and antiques, and a great atmosphere. When the market finishes, at about 19:00 there is usually a drumming group that congregates in Plaza Dorrego.
