A very peculiar neighborhood, designed to host the employees of Cervecería Quilmes back in the days. Several films and tv shows where filmed here (you'll see why).

The neighborhood of Villa Argentina was founded in 1927 on the land acquired by the Quilmes beer company with the purpose of housing the employees of its plant that has moved from other locations to work. El barrio de Villa Argentina se fundó en 1927 sobre tierras adquiridas por la empresa Quilmes de cerveza con la finalidad de alojar a los empleados de su planta que se trasladaban desde otras localidades para trabajar. Llegó a constituirse en un verdadero barrio con 192 viviendas y actualmente es considerado Patrimonio Histórico de Quilmes. Se destaca por el estilo arquitectónico y social de época y por sus calles prolijamente arboladas con plátanos.
