Cedar Key has so much history! This museum has all kinds of artifacts, pictures and more. Admission is only a few dollars per person and kids are free. You can even be an annual supporter by buying a low cost membership.
The Cedar Key Historical Society Museum is located at 7070 D Street, Cedar Key, Florida. It contains exhibits and photographs depicting the history of Cedar Key from prehistoric times through the 20th century. The museum is housed in two buildings.

At the Cedar Key Historical Society Museum, visitors take a self-guided walking tour and examine photographs, exhibits, artifacts and memorabilia that tell the story of this quaint Gulf Coast island community. A collection of prehistoric relics of local land and sea creatures, extensive photographs, and clippings are on display at the museum.
