Traditional Country Pub 20 -25 minutes along the canal path. Very busy on sunny days!

Nice walk up the canal to The George pub at Bathampton or get the boat from Pultney Weir and walk back... good for a drink or pub lunch.

Olde worlde pub by the canal. Good food and good walks to be had through Limpley Stoke Valley.

Five minutes further down the road from The Mill, located on the canal is The George Inn. Unfortunately it’s now a chain pub, but it is a pretty decent one in all fairness. Again the setting is fabulous. There’s a big garden to the rear but the USP is sitting out front by the canal with a pint of real ale or cider watching the narrowboats chug past. Bliss. The food is okay too. It can also get busy at peak times
