The lookout can be reached after a short walk from the carpark. There are beautiful coastal views all year round & at this time of year, if you are lucky, whales can be seen heading north. There are signs at the lookout & near the carpark which outline the types of whales you may see & their migration patterns.

A very short 2 minute bush trail takes you to the lookout where you can get the best view of migrating humpback whales from August to October. Its a great spot to take in the Warrain Beach side of Culburra and get your bearings.
