Sandy Beach Regional Park, Saskatchewan located north of Llyodminster offers attractive parkland with a lake & small area of sandy public beach. You can swim, there is a children's slide and diving board but remember no lifegaurd is on duty. Why not bring along your paddleboard or canoe. There's an area where you can change and there are some picnic tables too. The park also has public washrooms, a 9 hole golf course, a concession stand and lots of green space so bring along your sports games. This isn't a free attraction it does cost $8 per car to visit. The beach can get busy so it's better to visit on a week day. We take a picnic and some summer games. Under 60 mins drive from Church Stay Alberta.

Open between May 1 to September 30, Sandy Beach Lake Regional Park has public usage areas and is at the south end of Sandy Beach Lake. It offers day-use picnic sites, a modern children's play area and play equipment, a ball diamond, 9-hole par 35, sand green golf course, boat launch, firewood for sale, concession with drinks, snacks, ice cream treats, washroom and shower facilities, newly renovated hall & kitchen facilities for rent, picnic shelter for rent, and of course a beautiful sandy beach and swimming area.
