The sit-down space for Scratch Baking (see description of Scratch Baking below). Order toasted bagels with spreads, fantastic coffee bar, open-air seating and huge back patio with picnic tables.

Scratch makes some great bagels! This toast bar is relatively new, and super tasty way to start a day exploring South Portland, or en route to the Portland Head Light.

Scratch Baking Co. opened up a satellite retail establishment just up the street, at an old gas station on the corner of Sawyer and Broadway. The Toast Bar is a quirky, bagel-breakfast-sandwich concept with bread and bagels served fresh out of their ovens next door. They also serve Coffee by Design. Toast Bar’s hours are 8 to 2 Thursday through Sunday. They are closed other days. To Walk:: 7 minutes.
