The MHS do an incredible job at presenting the history of MN Forest in a fun living history logging camp, River Wanigan, Fire Tower and Interpretative Center. The trails are beautiful.

Great example of old north woods logging camps of over 100 years ago. Teaching & hands on activities. Also hiking to river / lake, grove of old trees, fire ranger tower, etc.

This is another " must see" if you visit the Grand Rapids area! They have activities and events all year long!
