Lovely Public Beach on Chaleur Bay. Great boardwalk and lots of sandy beach for a day of sunbathing.
It's one of New Brunswick's warmest beaches. Not much else to say, free parking and easy access not far from Bathurst “Beautiful Beach”. It makes a great day for families to enjoy a picnic together or for friends to go chill out for a day. (1 hour).
Youghall Beach Park is a fantastic destination for people of all ages. Visitors can enjoy a variety of activities, such as swimming, playing beach volleyball, or simply relaxing in the sun. The park is fully operational during the summer months, from June to August, and is staffed with lifeguards to ensure everyone's safety. The park offers stunning golden sands and beautiful blue waters, perfect for taking a leisurely stroll or enjoying the sunrise or sunset. The boardwalk provides multiple access points to the beach, making it easy for visitors to explore. Facilities on-site include a canteen, washrooms, and warm-water shower facilities, as well as five beach volleyball courts, an outdoor theatre, and a children's playground area. Visitors can also take advantage of over 200 free parking spots. At the end of Youghall Beach, there is a boat slip accessible for those interested in mackerel and striped bass fishing. Additionally, in 2021, Youghall Beach introduced two floating wheelchairs to enable people with physical disabilities to enjoy the beach fully. These wheelchairs are available during lifeguard hours at the station near the beach's main building.
