Ryogoku Fireworks Museum was built in the place where Japanese fireworks tradition was born. The biggest fireworks festival in Tokyo is held along the Sumida River in July every year. The Sumida River is very close to the museum. You can see fireworks ball and fried tube in the Edo era there. The museum displays posters and facilities for fireworks festivals throughout Japan. It is only 3 min walk from our hotel and free admission! If you are interested in the history of Ryogoku and fireworks, I recommend to go there.
