Good walking path with art works (Underfoot Gallery ) which connects Mary Street (by Pak n Save) to Albert Street all the way alongside Brown Street where you will find a bird hide built in the mangroves, the small guage railway circuit (rides on Sundays 11am -2pm ).The path continues on to Albert street where, you will find the petanque ( bocce ball) terrains and players on Mon, Wed, Fri mornings. Further on along the flat easy path you will find a technicoloured fence with a pathway which leads out to a dog on leash walking area and famous NZ sculptors' work of multi colours. This is the work of Michael Smithers.
