Opposite the gates of 10 Downing Street, this is Westminster’s essential boozer. It’s nothing special, but virtually everyone who drinks here has got something to tell you they’ll probably regret. In the ’90s, Prime Minister John Major famously called Britain “the land of warm beer,” so if you’re going to have one anywhere, you may as well here. There are plenty of hand-pumped ales to choose from, and they change all the time. If you’re not sure, ask for something light in colour. The dark beers are not for beginners.

A lovely place to eat a 10 minute drive from here, recently redecorated with a large seating area inside and out. Excellent menu with a great selection of traditional food. Great value for money and very friendly staff.
This is the 'fun pub' on Church st where you can wach sport or grab few late night drinks and laughs.
