This bridge is the view point from which you can see the 2 main rivers in Kyoto fork to the north-The Kamo River and The Takano River. From here, walk along the river north to see spectacular views of the north and eastern mountain ranges of Kyoto. Walk along the river south to enjoy wonderful cityscape views as you make your way downtown, past the Ritz Carleton, The famous Sanjo Bridge, and then on into Gion or modern downtown.
