■Shonan Kaigan Park (Shonan Beach Park) is located in Fujisawa, the city known for the popular tourist destination, Enoshima. Since the nearby Kugenuma seashore opened as a seaside resort in mid-Meiji era, this area became a popular destination for beach-goers during the summer season and attracted a lot of artists and people of culture.
