The geyser of Herľany is a rarity in Europe as there are only eight geysers like this one in the whole world. The geyser came into existence by making an artificial borehole to a depth of 405 metres. Eruptions of this geyser are irregular and dependent on ground water circulation. Before you decide to see it, it is better to check the next eruption.
