With thematic exhibits on diverse aspects of Louisiana history, industry and culture, the museum includes two permanent exhibits: Grounds for Greatness: Louisiana and the Nation and Experiencing Louisiana: Discovering the Soul of America. Suggested duration 1-2 hours
This is a wonderful museum about the history and culture of Louisiana. The second floor is broken into regions and covers the many different cultures that make up this state, as well as the different celebrations we hold (including, but certainly not limited to, Mardi Gras).
The Capitol Park Museum is a branch of the Louisiana State Museum located at 660 N. 4th Street, Baton Rouge, Louisiana. There are two permanent exhibits on the history and culture of Louisiana.
