Take Regents canal form Kings Cross on the east, it goes to Angel a lovely area, (it goes underground for 10 min walk and then continues east to Hoxton, Dalston, Broadway market (lively on Saturday), Columbia Flower Market (livley on Sundays) and Victoria park (approx 2 hours). You can continue all the way down to Canary Wharf (another 2 / 3 hours)
