Some of the best beaches in the area are in Booderee National Park (park fees apply), especially Greenpatch, Iluka and Murrays Beach at the end of Jervis Bay Road. Don’t miss them! If the ‘nor easter gets up, try the beaches on the southern side of the peninsula, like Cave Beach, Whiting or Summercloud Bay.
It's one of the most pristine national parks in Australia and a must visit for all coming to Jervis Bay. No visit is complete unless you Xperience the best of the Bay out at Booderee for the day.
A beautiful National Park rich in Indigenous history and stunning beaches. A 45 minute drive south. It is recommended you take a picnic lunch as there are no cafes in the park. There is also a park entrance fee payable to the toll booth operator on entry.
Enjoy the natural surrounds and bush land within the park. There are many bush trails and great beaches to fish, snorkel, surf, go paddle boarding or to take a dip. My favourite is Murray’s Beach.
Booderee is home to one of Australia’s most stunning national parks. Crystal-clear waters meet beautiful white sand beaches, while high cliffs and historic relics overlook the majestic Pacific Ocean. Booderee National Park features extraordinary native wildlife and is adorned with expansive botanic gardens. Booderee National Park and Botanic Gardens are located in the Jervis Bay Territory of Australia.
