Daisen Park is a huge park with many Kofun located in Sakai, Osaka. It is located on the south side of Nintoku Kofun. There is a large play ground, kids facilities, library, Japanese gardens and Kofun. It is chosen as one of 100 best parks with history. It is also popular Sakura spot in Sakai. There are 400 Sakura that bloom in April. Daisen Park is approximately 35 hectares in size, located between Daisenryo Kofun (said to be the tomb of Emperor Nintoku) and Kamiishizu Misanzai Kofun (said to be the tomb of Emperor Richu). 5 minutes walk from JR Hanwa Line Mozu station. This station is 12 minutes ride from JR Hanwa Line Abikocho station which is 8 minutes walk from here.

Daisen Park is approximately 35 hectares in size, located between Daisenryo Kofun (said to be the tomb of Emperor Nintoku) and Kamiishizu Misanzai Kofun (said to be the tomb of Emperor Richu). Located around Heiwa-to (tower of peace) facing the rows of ginkgo at the north entrance and bottle gourd-shaped Dora-ike (pond) that was made from a reservoir dating back to the Edo Period are Shibafu-hiroba (lawned square) and Jido-no-mori (children's forest) where many children play during holidays. There are also other facilities such as the Sakai City Museum where visitors can learn about the history and culture of Sakai City, a Japanese garden with 26,000 square meters in area, Green Center with Hana-to-mizu-no-hiroba (flower and water park), and a teahouse where visitors can enjoy green tea in relaxed style.

I've visited the Japanese garden in Daisen Park. You can have maccha green tea and Japanese cake at the tearoom in the garden. It was nice that there happened to be an event when I was there and I could hear a koto performance.
Park rich in greenery located between Daisenryo Kofun and Kamiishizu Misanzai Kofun, with a lawn square and Japanese garden.
