The market opens from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. It is, for tourists, a 'must see' stop. Most tourists visit this market because they want to see the extensive amount of products that are offered for bargain

The Central Market is a busy market and an Art Deco landmark in Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia. The bright yellow building completed in 1937 has a 26-metre high central dome, with four tall arch-roofed. Design by a French architect Jean Desbois inspired from the Art Deco period. In the market, you can buy almost every thing from souvenir to jewelries to tropical fruits and local delicacies.
