The Wharf is a waterfront development in SW DC with restaurants, bars, shopping, and live music.
It has many choices for places to eat and drink. Do a search online to see the options. And, the walk along the river is superb.
Great place to stroll, dine and catch water taxi for scenic ride to Old Town Virginia, Georgetown, or the National Harbor (MGM, etc).
Take the water taxi from Alexandria to the Wharf in DC. Endless things to check out at the wharf. Must grab a bite to eat and grab some fresh seafood.
The Waterfront is just south of the National Mall. In addition to beautiful views of the Washington Channel, which separates the parkland on Hains Point with the land contiguous with the National Mall, this neighborhood includes great seafood, restaurants, bars, sports stadiums, entertainment options and boat excursions. Be sure to visit the 200-year old Municipal Fish Market and the rest of the newly redeveloped Wharf!
