This is well away from the touristic centre of Valparaiso but worth it to watch the lively colony of sea lions just metres away from the shore and great views of Valparaiso's hills from the sea. There's also a beach and a fish market nearby (caleta portales).

You can go walking around the "Wheelright corridor", right next to the beach until Viña del Mar. Free access, great for jogging, biking or just walking.
