This is a gorgeous beach, although be careful of strong currents at the river mouth when the tide changes. We normally go at the end of the day to appreciate the sunset.
Beautiful secluded swim spot with white sand and easy to jump of climb in from the rocks for a calm swim. Perfect at mid tide. At low tide you can walk onto the beach.
A stunning beach on the other side of the Gannel estuary, you can walk down the path by the hotel california to get onto the estuary which is absolutely beautiful (great for a picnic, paddle boarding or a swim) and when the tides out you can walk over to Crantock beach... just be careful to keep an eye on the tide as its a long walk back (or a swim) if it comes in before you notice!

This is one of our favourite beaches in Cornwall, its great for a dog walk on a beach, you can hire paddleboards right on the beach and get a yummy coffee from the army truck. Top trip in summer months you will have to get there before 9am to get parking.
