We all love Conestee Nature Preserve. Whether it’s the place you go to get away, observe wildlife, restore inner peace, walk your dog, ride your bike, take a class, or all of the above, the Preserve is a special place for so many, including you!
This place is AMAZING! I have gone there many times with my children and my pup. There is also a dog park near the preserve. So much fun and full on nature.
Dog park and walking trails that link you up to Swamp Rabbit Trail - 50+ miles of walking/running/biking trails.
One of the nicest county parks around Greenville featuring a few easy trails through 400 acres of beautiful natural habitat. This park is located at the southern end of the Swamp Rabbit Trail. The park contains both hardwood and evergreen forest, extensive wetlands, three miles of the Reedy River, and a rich diversity of wildlife habitat. Deer, raccoon, beaver, fox, river otter, and various small mammals inhabit the park, along with numerous species of reptiles and amphibians. Over 200 bird species have been reported by the Greenville County Bird Club. The park has been designated as an Important Bird Area of Global Significance by the National Audubon Society. Really two parks in one, it also has a dog park, playground, and sports fields.
