There is great snorkeling right off the beach. If you enter the beach at the Ojo de Agua entrance, turn right at the beach entrance and you will see a beach club. They have 2 for 1 margaritas all day long I believe and pretty decent beach food. The lounge chairs are free if you buy some food and drinks. You can enter the water there and snorkel south to get to the reef heads. You will see two big white buoys out in the water, there are some large reef heads around them and the "eye" which is an underwater cenote that flows into the ocean. You will see lots of underwater sea life including barracudas and spotted eagle rays. On occasion you may get lucky and see a turtle in the deeper waters or a nurse shark hiding under a corral reef head. Alternatively, you can take a boat out to the main reef. These usually cost around $15-$25 per person.

The main dock in town. Local fisherman and some tours depart from this dock. Also has the iconic lighthouse which represents Puerto Morelos
The gorgeus ocean and the beautiful beach of Puerto Morelos, the lighthouse and basically, the best place ever
