Its straight out my front door. Walk a very small portion of our 52 miles of urban trails (about 3/4 a mile) for a morning stroll or to connect with Coconino National Forest and Schultz Creek trailhead with lots of trails and parking for hikers, bikers, cross country skiiers. In Spring, Fall and Summer you can drive 5 miles up Schultz Pass Rd. to Schultz tank to see if there any baby ducks or hike/bike a variety of connecting trails. ( I have a hiking guide you can borrow.) Or you can drive on and enjoy gorgeous scenery and sites of past major wildfire sites that are regenerating as you complete the entire Schultz Pass Rd. loop and end up on Hwy. 89 NE of Flagstaff. WARNING: The road is very narrow and rough in places and they are doing some tree thinning up there so you may encounter a few logging trucks

This is a great spot to start a hike, many awesome trails start around here or up the road ( schultz pass rd). Also home to some of the raddest mountain biking trails!
