There is nothing better than experiencing the culture of the Bahamas. While here visit our historic Forts. The Fort Charlotte is one of our popular sites. It's locate in the downtown area. It's in only 10 minutes walking distance from the heart of the Shops on our main Bay Street. It also over looks the whole Port Area. It is truly a beautiful scenery.
Fort Charlotte is a British-colonial era fort commanding an impressive view of Paradise Island, Nassau, and the harbour. The fort is a short walk west of downtown Nassau and the cruise ship terminal.
Great non-beach activity. Across from Fish Fry -- take the 10 towards downtown.
