Beautiful building in downtown Annapolis, MD. A lot of historic buildings and taverns around this area. About 3.5 miles from the suite.

The beautiful Maryland State House is the oldest state capitol in continuous legislative use and is the only state house ever to have served as the nation's capitol. It is open to tour and is a must visit.

Walking through the inside is very interesting and there are great photo opportunities all around the grounds.

The Maryland State House housed the workings of the United States government from November 26, 1783, to August 13, 1784, and the Treaty of Paris was ratified there on January 14, 1784, so Annapolis became the first peacetime capital of the U.S.

This building was the People's House when Annapolis briefly served as the national capital at the end of the Revolutionary War.
