This is what is called a “huarique” (hidden place, “hole in the wal” in quechua) a “hidden” neighborhood spot with great food (it does not have a website!!, but they are on google maps). It is an old garage converted into a restaurant that serves a different dish every day. Famous for “sancochado” on Mondays and rabbit with orange sauce (which is the only dish they serve every day). It just does not get more Barranco than this!. Not luxurious, but definitely an experience. The entrance is simple, and has a sign above that says CAFÉ TOSTADO…that’s it 😊
