You can see the beautiful reservoir, drive across the dam and look down the Snake River. Then after you drive across the dam, turn right and see the water pouring into the outlet. You can also drive down to the Snake River from a road on the East side of the dam (where you came from) to watch people launching on river floats. Watch for wildlife! We have seen bears and all kinds of animals in this area.

A perfect place to fish or lauch a raft or kayak and float the river. Fishing boats and guides are available for rent all over Island Park as are rafts and kayaks.
