Stunning coastal national park, including bushwalks and isolated beaches.

Broken Head walking track is a stunning walk along the headland. You'll need a car to get to this beach. Park next to the Broken Head caravan park. The entrance to the Nature Reserve is up to the left on the grassy area. Follow the signs along the track to the headland where the 3 sisters (rocks) can be seen. From here you can continue down the steep track to the little beach cove (on low tide) for a swim and even continue walking along the beach to the next beach, which is Kings Beach. Follow the beach back the way you came to return.

You can choose to just go to the beach, and/or do the short walk out to Cocked Hat Rocks. There's also Aunties Cafe open Wednesday to Sunday 7am to 2pm.

Broken Head nature reserve stretches from Broken Head village to Seven Mile beach. The area was deemed a reserve to protect the unusual occurance of coastal subtropical rainforest. You can take a couple different walking tracks that start from either Seven Mile road or the caravan park. The Seven Mile road track leads you to Kings beach and the caravan track leads you on a dramatic coastal path to a lookout and information point. This is a superb area of sweeping rainforest and secluded beaches. We love to head to one of the beaches for the day with a picnic and good book.

It is an easy walk away and the walk over the Broken Headland is spectacular. Take a picnic and a couple of drinks and watch the sun go down or whale watching in the cooler months. Excellent surfing and swimming spot. PS: go searching for the magical hidden Ti-Tree lake.
