Woolacombe Beach lies between Morte Point and Baggy Point. The three-mile long stretch of golden sand is renowned for its cleanliness, water quality and facilities. Lifeguards ensure safe family swimming during the summer and surfers come from all over the country to enjoy the great waves and clean water.
A big favourite with families and surfers, this award winning beach offers a three mile stretch of golden sand. Three large car parks.
The beach is the main attractions in Woolacombe and to walk down to it from the Bolt Hole you can avoid walking on the main road by following a footpath through the campsite opposite. Check the Google map and follow the pink line.
Woolacombe is an award winning beach, three miles of golden sands and crystal clear waters. With many activities to enjoy including surfing, paragliding or riding. It’s a great family friendly beach where you can happily stroll along the sand, get stuck in building sand castles, chill with an ice cream or swim through the waves. A fun place for all. We normally park on Marine Drive and visit the Porthole Cafe. If you walk down the footpaths through the dunes you can get to parts of the beach that are much quieter. Combesgate Beach is just around the coast and the waves can be smaller.
