This may be my favourite restaurant. Really awesome traditional homestyle dishes with a twist, and cozy candle lighted atmosphere. It is thematic about peronism, so you'll even find an altar for Evita among other surprises, but not cheesy or touristic.
Delicious local comfort food. Restaurant decorated under one the main political parties in Argentina, peronismo. It is a very nice experience to go.
Juan Domingo Perón was an Argentine president, one of the most emblematic figures of the country that has been decisive for social culture (in good and bad sense). This restaurant is a tribute to him with the most typical ingredients and dishes of the country.
A shrine to the Kristina and the Peron movement. Interesting menu with oven cooked dishes rather than the standard parilla fare.
Peron Peron is in Palermo Hollywood. It’s run by Peronistas – Peron supporters and fans. Inside, it is jam-packed with Peron memorabilia - portraits, newspapers, flags, uniforms, graffiti walls, buttons, candles, propaganda, and busy decor honoring the Peronism political movement of Argentine president Juan Perón (1895–1974) and the First Lady, Eva Duarte Peron. It is a small, but popular, restaurant, and was full at 8pm on a Saturday. The seating is snug inside as the tables are fairly close to each other, but the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. Starting around 10pm and about every hour afterward, the Peron anthem song is played, and the locals sing and clap along. Even though the wait staff did not participate, the patrons who did were enthusiastic enough to entertain. The food was good and the prices were reasonable. Make sure to reserve a table advance.
